We took our 1969 Chevrolet conversion van to the 2011 Salem Summer Bash Car Show in Clayton, Ohio on Saturday, July 9.  It was a great show with a beautiful shaded venue next to a large pond and a giant picnic shelter, an awesome live band (seriously guys, you sounded very good), and an ice cream truck.  Oh, and of course, hundreds of incredible hot rods, street rods, and classic cars.  It really was a great show.

And the best part is...we won first place in the van division!  Can you believe it?!

(A note from the webmaster: Unfortunately, when I shot this video of the band, I didn't think ahead as to how I would actually use the footage in the video.  So I had three breaks in the footage.  As a result, we ended up with three breaks in what eventually became the soundtrack.  Sorry about that.  Next time, I'll know better.)
