Tired of stripped-out hub splines on your E-Z-GO golf cart? Looking for a heavy-duty spline made of hardened steel that is stronger and more durable? Then check out these Ausco heavy-duty drum/hub kits for E-Z-GO golf carts. Some golf carts use soft cast-iron hubs built into their brake drums. The cast iron delivers proper drum brake performance but is too soft for good hub durability. Over time (sometimes, in as little as a few months), the hub fails, leaving the cart disabled. Ausco has solved this problem with an innovative two-piece hub-and-drum design. The brake drum is made of cast iron, while the hub is made of long-lasting hardened steel. This delivers the best of both worlds - great brake performance and no hub failures. When properly installed, this competitively-priced design saves owners from paying for the same hub repair over and over again. It requires no modifications to the cart and fits all E-Z-GO golf carts from 1984 to present.
