Battery Fill Bottle

This battery fill bottle (filler jug) makes it easy to properly fill your electric golf cart or utility vehicle batteries.  The key feature is the specialized fill spout that is designed with a unique shape and an automatic shut-off valve that stops the flow at the proper level.  This allows you to fill the battery directly and avoid overfilling or spillage.

When combined with proper charging practices (always charge your batteries when they are discharged to the 20% - 30% range and never allow them to fully discharge), maintaining proper water levels will allow you to maximize battery performance and longevity.  Always fill batteries with distilled water only and do not overfill.  Fill approx 1/2-inch below the fill cap recess.  Overfilling the batteries will cause them to leak and boil-over when charging.  This will start corroding cables, connections, and the frame.  Keep the top of your batteries and all connections clean.  If you notice corrosion on the battery connections, then clean the connections and apply a terminal protective coating.

However, filling the batteries to exactly 1/2-inch below the fill cap recess without any spillage is very difficult to do by hand.  The only way to do it right is to invest in the proper tools.  This inexpensive fill bottle/filler jug is the right tool for the job and is MUCH less expensive than a new set of batteries!  EVERY electric golf cart owner should own one of these bottles.
